When I was a kid, taking apart toys and small cars was common. My first round in the Marines was just that, but with helicopters. I touched controls, servos, bell cranks, and rotor wings on a consistent basis.

My most memorable step was flying. My first flight with the squadron... more than memorable. Justifying all it took to get that UH-1N off the ground was amazing, let alone how noisy it was when doing so. In the air, I remember the sounds and smells, and the screens and radios going off in your ear.

Pilot chatter filled the void to conclude, as fast as we were up, we came down.

As time progressed, radios and telecommunications became of keen interest. The radios in the helicopters were similar to what they gave us on the ground. As i shifted to a more niche roll as a battalion recon man, I learned tech was the only way we could make it home. The MBITR radio was one I would use in my next adventure a good amount along training missions and FTX's out west. Being grateful my first exposure was in a controlled environment, a USMC shop for radios, the buttons needed a map for themselves and to my dismay and my stature, I carried batteries most of the time anyway, "Tank" they called me but with no clue my inner nerd was rising.

I always look back to my "--root" in tech, and it seems to have a footprint there and also tied into my time in the Boy Scouts far before the Yellow Footprints to my first deployment, second and then finally on the streets of metro Atlanta with a badge a glock 22.

My root in tech draws me like a child to the interest in continuing education and that pioneer spirit for learning more and more like a well build mongoDB feature for the future. I will say if the Marines had given me a direct role in cyber or tech then, I'm not sure I would have been ready or willing. The Air gave me such a thirst for learning and adventure, I would have turned it down.Github found me in 2017, as "opensource-for-freedom" due to my skill in research and reconnaissance using python tooking and data sources, gangs couldnt hide for long.

My story starts here.
